Bay Tree Technologies USA, LLC was founded in 2006 by a team of building materials and lumber industry executives with over 100 years of combined industry experience. The company's mission is to provide professionals and consumers with environmentally friendly, sustainable products using the Stellac® Thermally Modified Wood (TMW) process such as PureWood™ Decking.

As part of our commitment to the environment, fast-growing, renewable wood is the exclusive raw material for PureWood products, with new saplings continually replacing harvested trees.

Raw lumber undergoes thermal modification in TMW-exclusive kilns located across North America. There is limited waste product from the TMW process; in fact, 80% of the energy for the TMW process comes from renewable sources. So there's minimal impact on the environment and nothing to keep PureWood from being disposed of as any other wood product, whether mulched, burned or recycled.
