Please read this document carefully so that you will know the extent of your warranty coverage.

How to Care for your PureWood Decking

Your selection of PureWood Decking is a sound investment for your home. To keep your investment beautiful over the years, you should store, apply, and maintain the Product in accordance with BTT USA's application and maintenance instructions in place at the time of purchase. This warranty shall be null and void and of no legal effect whatsoever if BTT USA's application and maintenance instructions in place at the time of purchase are not followed.

Paints, Stains and Protectants

Coatings are not necessary with PureWood products to protect the wood from decay. However, to protect the wood from the natural weathering process, checking, or the silvering of product due to direct sunlight exposure, a high-quality water sealant that contains a UV protector should be used. Please follow the specific coating manufacturer’s instructions for use.

Eligibility

Bay Tree Technologies USA, LLC ("BTT USA") will extend this warranty to the original purchaser ("Purchaser") of PureWood™ Decking products and to any subsequent owner ("Owner") of a structure on which the product is originally installed. This warranty is for PureWood Decking and/or railing material used in standard residential dwellings.

Warranty Coverage

BTT USA will replace any product or, at BTT USA’s option, refund to the Purchaser the original purchase price of any Product found to be defective that the Purchaser used in decking or railing structure because the product become structurally unfit due to rot, excessive warp, or corrosion within twenty-five (25) years from the date the product is purchased provided that the Product has been stored, applied and maintained in accordance with BTT USA’s application and maintenance instructions in place at the time of purchase.

Exclusions from Warranty Coverage

This warranty does not cover costs of installation, removal or reinstallation. BTT USA's obligations under this warranty will not exceed the purchase price of the originally installed products found to be defective. All additional costs over and above these amounts are the responsibility of the Purchaser or Owner. Also, this warranty does not cover 1) use of the product beyond typical residential use; 2) any act of God (including, but not limited to, flooding, hurricane, tornado, hail, earthquake, lightning, etc.); or 3) variations or changes in color of the Product.

Exclusion of other warranties, express or implied

Other than the express warranty granted in this document, the products are sold "as is" and "with all faults." The warranties and remedies apply only to the original deck contractor and/or current homeowners only and are their sole and exclusive remedies except as otherwise required by law, and are in lieu of and exclude all other warranties

Claim Procedure

Within 90 days of notice of damage, Purchaser/Owner should do the following to file a claim under this warranty: Submit information on the number and sizes of boards to be replaced, proof of purchase, proof of warranty, full name, phone, address, and email address.

What must you do to be covered?

Because of the length and scope of coverage, you must do the following to be entitled to coverage: 1. For this warranty to be in force, you must register this warranty within one year after installation. You may do this by completing and returning the Warranty Registration Card that accompanied the product. We suggest you keep a copy for your records. You may also accept the warranty by following the Warranty Registration procedures shown on our website at www.PureWoodProducts.com. 2. Notify us in writing of any defects or conditions that may be covered by this warranty within ninety (90) days after you discover the condition as set forth above by the claim procedure section. The written notice should describe the defect in detail.

How Do You Transfer Your Warranty?

You and subsequent Property owners may transfer this Warranty by providing written notice to us within thirty (30) days after the date of transfer of ownership.

The warranty shall only be applicable and enforceable in the United States of America and Canada.
